Some builders build to a number. At Colony Homes, we build to a standard. For three generations, our family has been crafting bespoke homes all over Adelaide, from beyond the Barossa Valley to the southern Fleurieu Peninsula.
Each Colony Homes build is intelligently designed and as individual as our clients. And while we’re best known for our traditional stone homes, we are specialists in materials such as steel, natural timber and glass. Those who know Colony know we don’t build many homes – but those we build are better.
CONSULTANT
Alan Johansen acquired Colony Homes in 1991. After working as a builder and forging a reputation for stunning workmanship, Alan decided to branch out and launch a building company renowned for its construction quality and commitment to client satisfaction.
DIRECTOR | HEAD CARPENTER
Darren is a Director of Colony Homes and also our Head Carpenter. During his apprenticeship (completed in 1999), Darren knew he wanted to work with the company established by his father and continue the traditions of quality craftsmanship and genuine service.
ADMINISTRATION
Mignon is the wife of our head carpenter, Darren. In addition to providing invaluable support to Darren in his role, Min heads up our Admin Support and is the reason our clients have their calls returned and emails responded to in a prompt and timely manner.
